Philippe Grancher is a French musician (guitarist and keyboardist) born in 1956. He started his musical career by playing spacey music, with the likes of Cyrille Verdeaux or Didier Lockwood. He recorded two ‘synthesizer’ albums in the mid-1970s. He chose then to come back to his real love : blues and rock’n roll, switching to lead guitar. In the next ten years, Grancher played and jammed with many different people: Vincent Bucher, Amar Sundy, Alain Giroux, Vince Taylor etc. He stopped playing music in 1986 at the age of 30, but resumed his musical career in 1996 by releasing his first blues album «The Atomic Sound». He has now released 4 albums, and toured with his band in many blues clubs and festivals in France. His group «Philippe Grancher And His G-Men» was created in 2003.
