I am Juris Salmins that wrote almost every song for my band Motvind. I am glad that even people in Russia knows about Motvind. I know why we never toured outside Scandinavia and the simple reason is that we only sang in Swedish.
We still do gigs at festivals etc. but only a few times every year and one reason to that we kind of fell of the track was that I decided to take a 19 year time out in 1983 when I started to produce kids instead of records.
Another reason is that I changed name in 2004 to Jack McGuinness and many old fans actually believes I am dead and gone 🙂
I have to correct that to make some noise live again!
